As the year 2023 wrapped up, Brazil's food delivery service apps continued to serve up convenience on Android devices. Sensor Tower's latest data provides a glimpse into the performance of the top players in the market during the fourth quarter.

Ifood comida e mercado em casa remained a significant contender with its download numbers fluctuating around the 200K mark, peaking at 219K in late October. The app's weekly active users showed a more consistent upward trend early in the quarter, reaching close to 9.9M before dipping to around 8.8M towards the end of December.

Meanwhile, iFood para Entregadores, the counterpart for delivery personnel, saw its downloads hover around 50K for the most part, with a notable dip to 24.9K in mid-December. The weekly active users count for the app remained just above 200K towards the quarter's end, after experiencing higher engagement around November with over 240K active users.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced download figures that spanned from approximately 9.7K to 10.7K, except for a dip to around 8.3K in early December. The app's active users showed resilience, starting the quarter at 576K and ending at approximately 505K, despite some fluctuations in between.

Cornershop by Uber witnessed a varied download trend, with a peak of around 11.8K in mid-October, then gradually declining to 2.5K by the year's end. Active users for Cornershop by Uber also showed a downward trajectory from 45K to 35K, suggesting a decrease in weekly engagement during the quarter.

Lastly, Uber Eats: Food Delivery observed its downloads starting at 6.1K and experiencing an increase to 6.4K in early October, followed by a gradual decline to 2.3K in early December. Weekly active users peaked at 112K in mid-November, then fell to around 61K by Christmas.
